Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Newcastle area is seeking a part-time Catering team member to provide resident meal service and high-quality dining for our residents at St John's Villa, New Lambton. Shifts include Monday, Wednesday & Saturdays with a competitive hourly rate.

As part of our not-for-profit organisation, you will support a caring team, follow food safety practices, and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain

• Location - St John's Villa New Lambton
• Perm Part Time - Monday, Wednesday & Saturdays shifts
• Pay rate - $33.20 per hour + super + casual loading
• Not for profit employer so pay less tax!
