Job summary

Trippas White Group is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to support a busy residential college kitchen in Parkville, Melbourne. You will serve meals, help with setup, and ensure a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.

This casual role requires a can-do attitude, food safety awareness, and flexibility to work Thursday to Sunday shifts. Onsite parking is available, and training can be provided.

Qualifications

• A passion for quality food and customer service.
• A current food handlers certificate (this can be arranged).
• Previous experience in food preparation.
• Previous experience in a cafe environment.
• Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices.
• A warm, bubbly and efficient personality.
• An ability to work as part of a great team.
• Have excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Service & set up of students through the dining service areas.
• Putting of deliveries away in accordance with Food Safety guidelines.
• Assisting with function setups.
