Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Mona Vale is seeking a dedicated Catering team member to provide high quality resident dining and assist with meal preparation. You will help deliver a warm, nourishing service for our residents in a respectful, supportive environment.

This part-time role includes Friday PM, Saturday AM & Sunday PM shifts with competitive hourly pay and a values‑based workplace that supports the wellbeing of staff, residents and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Heart and passion for providing high quality care to residents.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
