Job summary

Southern Cross Care Caloundra is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to support meal service and help maintain a welcoming dining environment for residents. You will contribute to positive experiences each day and work within a supportive team in a residential aged care setting.

The role offers morning (6:00am-2:00pm) or afternoon (2:30pm-7:30pm) shifts, with training and development opportunities and benefits through Compass Group policy. Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or hospitality is appreciated but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in kitchen and dining areas.
• Support stock management and replenishment as required.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Assist the team across a variety of catering duties.
