Job summary

Gate Gourmet is hiring a Catering Team Leader / Catering Assistant based at Brisbane Airport, within the Make & Pack division. You will supervise, assemble and pack meals and trolleys for airline customers, ensuring quality and safety across a 7-day rotating schedule (AM/PM) with weekends and public holidays included.

The role emphasizes detailed food preparation, adherence to procedures, and teamwork in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Team Leader
• Experience in food preparation, production, or a similar environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and workplace health & safety practices
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster (38 hours per week) including weekends and public holidays, on a weekly rotation between AM and PM shifts

• Portioning, assembling, and packaging meals to specific airline requirements

About the Role

Due to ongoing growth and increased demand for our services, we now have exciting opportunities for a Catering Team Leader / Catering Assistant in our Make & Pack, division, working across the production team, putting together bespoke meals for passengers based at Brisbane Airport.
