Job summary

Scalabrini Communities is seeking a Catering Assistant on a casual basis at The Village - Drummoyne in Sydney. You will assist with the preparation and service of nutritious meals for residents, help with presentation, and deliver meals to dining areas while upholding food safety standards.

The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, strong customer-service focus, and prior experience in a commercial kitchen; aged-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A great attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Good communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
• Previous experience in food preparation within a commercial kitchen, preferably in an aged care or health services environment.
• Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (AM/PM weekdays and weekends).
