Job summary

WesTrac is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support the Casula team, performing onsite maintenance and repair work across Sydney’s metro area. You will diagnose faults, inspect machines, and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and thorough reporting.

The role offers autonomy, diverse daily tasks and exposure to CAT equipment, with a strong focus on professional development within WesTrac Institute and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

Australian recognised Mobile Plant cert III trade qualification.
Field service or mobile maintenance experience.
Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships.
Current unrestricted driver's licence.
Experience using CAT ET, SIS or similar diagnostic systems.

Responsibilities

Perform field service repairs, servicing and maintenance on CAT equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Complete machine inspections and condition reports.
Deliver high-quality customer service and technical support onsite.
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate service records and reporting.
