Job summary

Chandler Macleod has partnered with Rio Tinto to recruit a CAT 777 Dump Truck Operator for the Gove region, NT. This FIFO role offers a structured 8/6 roster, weekly pay, and a safety-focused team on site at the Rio Tinto operation.

You will operate CAT 777 haul trucks, conduct pre-starts, and support production targets while maintaining safe, reliable operations and accurate records. Applicants must hold a current Australian driver's licence and demonstrate strong teamwork and safety commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large mining haul trucks (CAT 777) is essential.
• Ability to work in a FIFO roster and remote site conditions.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Clear communication and teamwork in a multi-cultural site.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 777 haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance reporting.
• Haul ore and waste per mine plans and schedules.
• Record operations and participate in safety reporting.
• Follow site procedures and participate in pre-employment checks.
