Job summary

Banyule City Council is seeking a Casual Youth Outreach and Program Support Worker to engage with young people through outreach, engagement, and youth-led initiatives across the Banyule community.

You will support planning and delivery of youth programs, events, and activities, connecting young people to services and opportunities while upholding child-safe practices. Evening, weekend and school holiday shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people.
• Relevant qualification or experience in youth services, youth work, community development, education, recreation or a related field.
• Ability to build positive relationships with diverse young people.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with young people through outreach and engagement in the community.
• Support delivery of safe, inclusive and engaging youth programs and events.
• Contribute to community wellbeing, safety and Council engagement activities.
