Job summary

Maroondah City Council is seeking enthusiastic Youth Activity Workers to join our casual pool, with location at Ringwood and Croydon and some local travel. This casual role supports the delivery of youth programs and events for young people aged 8–25, emphasizing safety, inclusion and community connection.

Maroondah City Council is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Youth Activity Workers to join our Youth Services casual pool.

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young people, thrive in team environments and can build positive relationships with a diverse range of young people and community members. Whether you're an experienced youth worker or currently studying Youth Work or Community Services, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a true casual role, providing flexible opportunities during staff leave and periods of increased demand. Reporting to the Team Leader Youth Services, you will support the delivery of youth programs, events and activities that promote the health, wellbeing and participation of young people aged 8-25 years. You will play an important role in creating safe, inclusive and engaging opportunities that support young people's wellbeing, participation and connection to the community.

Working alongside our Youth Development Workers, you will:

• Support the delivery of youth programs, projects and events
