Job summary

Bayside City Council is seeking a Casual Youth Worker to join the Youth Services team across the Bayside LGA. You will support delivery of youth engagement programs and activities for young people aged 10 to 25 years, working at the Peterson Youth Centre and other sites.

Applicants should have a Youth Work qualification (or be working towards one) and demonstrate energy, strong communication, and the ability to engage diverse youth audiences.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Youth Work or related field as required in selection criteria.
• Energetic, passionate, and dedicated to working with young people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and evaluation of youth engagement programs, events and activities.
• Work across youth centre, school and community settings to promote wellbeing and participation.
• Contribute to inclusion and community connection for youth aged 10 to 25 years.
