Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking a hands-on Casual Venue Assistant - Operations to help maintain and present showgrounds, equestrian facilities and event venues across Maryborough. You'll be part of the Venue Operations team, performing maintenance, cleaning and groundskeeping tasks while supporting event prep and pack-down.
The role requires weekend work and early starts. You’ll interact with venue hirers, contractors and the public, and contribute to safe, ready-for-event facilities.
Stream B Level 2 - $35.36 + 25% casual loading + $44.75 per hour + superannuation

We are seeking a hands-on and reliable team member to help maintain and present Council's showgrounds, equestrian facilities and event venues to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, takes pride in maintaining facilities and grounds, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to support community events when required.
Working as part of the Venue Operations team, you'll undertake a variety of maintenance, cleaning and groundskeeping tasks such as mowing and spraying, while also assisting with event preparation and pack-down activities.
No two days are the same, with opportunities to contribute to the ongoing upkeep of facilities that host major equestrian, community and sporting events across the Fraser Coast. This role requires weekend work and early starts.
