St John Ambulance Victoria is seeking a Casual Trainer to deliver first aid training across Victoria. You will facilitate accredited and non‑accredited programs, assess learner competency, and ensure training aligns with national standards and organisational requirements.

The role requires relevant qualifications, industry experience, and a passion for education, wellbeing and empowering individuals to build confidence and safer communities. Travel across Victoria is expected where required.

Qualifications

• Passion for training and education in first aid, health, safety, mental health, or related field.
• TAE40116/TAE40122 certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in first aid or related discipline.

Ideal candidate

• Passion for training and education in first aid, health, safety, mental health, or a related field.


• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or equivalent.


• Practical industry experience and/or qualifications in first aid or a related discipline.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate adult learners.


• Professional, customer‑focused approach and ability to represent St John positively.


• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and sound basic IT skills.


• Commitment to workplace health, safety, and continuous learning.


• Current driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel throughout Victoria, including regional areas.
