Job summary

St John Ambulance Queensland in Townsville, Queensland is seeking casual trainers and assessors to deliver hands-on first aid and CPR training across workplaces, schools and communities in Queensland.

You will lead practical, scenario-based sessions, assess competency, travel to client sites, and contribute to safe, confident learning. Must have Cert IV in Training & Assessment and current First Aid & CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) required.
• Experience in training, education, emergency response, healthcare, or similar.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Confidence facilitating groups and engaging learners.
• Commitment to safety, inclusion, and quality training.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Blue Card and ability to obtain; Criminal History Check and ability to obtain.
• Driver’s Licence.
