Perth Racing seeks Tote Operators for the 2026 Ascot Racing Carnival to join our team at Ascot and Belmont Park, delivering high-energy, customer-focused service on major race days.

You will operate betting terminals, handle cash reconciliations and provide friendly service across carnival days and Saturdays. Candidates must have cash handling experience, strong numeracy, a current police clearance and be available for key carnival days.

• Demonstrated cash handling and cash reconciliation experience.
• Proven numeracy accuracy.
• Current police clearance and be over 18 years.
• Availability to work Saturdays and carnival days.

This is your chance to be part of the Ascot Racing Carnival.From October to January each year, Ascot Racecourse comesalive with some of our biggest race day events, including MelbourneCup day, The Pinnacles and Perth Cup.

We are currently seeking Tote Operators for the 2026 AscotRacing Carnival.

About Us

We are WA’s only metropolitan race club and manage two venues –Ascot and Belmont Park Racecourses. For 160 years, we have been oneof Perth’s major tourist attractions, offering thoroughbred racing,entertainment and venue hire for special events.

Racing is an all-year sport – we host race meets every week inevery season! In addition to our racing carnivals, we also hostcorporate functions, conferences, festivals, weddings, trade showsand much more.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for team players who work well in a fast-paced,high-energy environment. You will have a passion for outstandingcustomer service and embody our core values of Integrity andTransparency, Leadership and Empowerment, Innovation andExcellence, Safety and Sustainability, and Engagement andUnderstanding.

Reporting to the Wagering Co-ordinator you will be provided withon-the-job training at Belmont Park racecourse prior to thecarnival at Ascot racecourse and will be required to successfullycomplete TAB training and compliance online.

Successful applicants will work closely with other team membersto provide an exceptional level of customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
