Job summary

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is seeking a casual Support Worker to join our community care team in NSW. You will visit elderly clients at home in the St George and Sutherland areas, provide day-to-day support and help maintain independence.

We value compassionate, reliable team players with strong communication skills who can work autonomously. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experienced as a Support Worker delivering care to the elderly in the community.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop rapport with clients and families.
• Valid overseas or unrestricted Australian driver’s license with a reliable car for home visits.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willingness to obtain.
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered).

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day activities including outings, personal care, meals and domestic assistance.
• Develop positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
• Complete comprehensive progress notes reflecting client’s care.
• Travel to elderly clients’ homes in the St George and Sutherland areas.
• Support clients to maintain independence and stay at home.

About you
