Job summary

Ruah is hiring a Casual Support Worker to assist people facing homelessness, domestic violence and other challenges across Housing & Homelessness programs in Perth, WA. Shifts include day, evening, overnight and weekends, with flexible rosters starting from 45.28 AUD per hour plus superannuation.

Based in Northbridge, the role supports the Ruah Engagement Hub (REH), After Hours, and Safe Night Space services, contributing to safe, stable housing outcomes for vulnerable communities.

Qualifications

• Completion of, or progress towards, a relevant qualification (Certificate III or above) in Community Services, Mental Health, AOD, Youth Work, Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Housing & Homelessness, or related field; and/or relevant work experience and/or lived experience

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to people experiencing homelessness and other complex challenges
• Build positive relationships and support participants to access services and achieve their goals
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, high-quality service environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders
