Job summary

Resthaven on Quarry, a 63-room aged care home in Queensland, seeks a Personal Care Worker to join our casual team providing person-centred care and supporting residents with daily needs and emotional wellbeing.

You will work under our Care Plan to assist with personal care, mobility, eating, and skin care, while upholding Aged Care Quality Standards. Mandatory qualifications include a Cert III in Aged Care and NDIS Worker Clearance.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying) is mandatory.
• NDIS Worker Clearance mandatory.
• Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting.
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care and continence care.
• Mobility support, including use of aids and falls prevention.
• Assistance with eating and drinking, including special dietary requirements.
• Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams.
