Job summary
Resthaven on Quarry is seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our aged care team in Sydney, NSW. Working Casual, you will support residents with daily needs and emotional wellbeing through a person-centred approach, delivering care in a warm, respectful environment.
Requirements include a Cert III in Aged Care or current study, NDIS clearance, prior aged care experience, and strong communication skills. We offer competitive pay and supportive development opportunities within our award-winning
Qualifications
- Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying).
- NDIS Worker Clearance is mandatory.
- Experience providing personal care in an aged care setting.
- Passion for delivering person-centred care.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
- Provide personal care (hygiene, grooming, continence care).
- Support mobility and use of aids; assist with falls prevention.
- Assist with eating and drinking, considering dietary requirements.
- Perform basic skin care and repositioning as needed.
