Job summary

Cabrini Malvern Hospital is seeking experienced Patient Food Services Assistants for casual shifts to support patient meals and service. The role covers menu ordering, meal preparation, and delivering meals to patient rooms across a seven-day week with day and evening shifts between 6:30AM and 9:00PM.

Applicants should have a Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain one), knowledge of dietary codes, and at least 12 months in a food service or service environment.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certificate required or willing to obtain it at Cabrini.
• Knowledge of culinary and nutritional terminology including diet codes is advantageous.
• Experience in a food service or service industry is valued (min 12 months).
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Strong written and spoken English communication; adaptable in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with menu ordering for patients.
