Job summary

Microhire, the largest Australian owned AV production company, is seeking casual or part-time corporate audio visual technicians in Port Douglas. We deliver events at hotels, conferences, and gala dinners and value professionals who present well and love creating outstanding experiences.

Set up and configure AV gear, troubleshoot on site, and provide client support at high-end venues. Prior corporate AV experience and a strong problem-solving mindset are preferred; hotel experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the corporate AV technology is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous 5 Star Hotel experience is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and configure the audio-visual equipment for events, conferences, gala dinners etc.

Conducting basic troubleshooting of AV equipment and resolving technical issues as they arise

Provide technical support to clients

Qualifications

Prior experience in the corporate AV technology is preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous 5 Star Hotel experience is a bonus
