Job summary

Downer's Energy & Utilities is seeking experienced Casual Fitters to join our outage team in Gladstone, QLD. In this role, you will support critical shutdown and maintenance activities, carrying out the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of pumps, valves, conveyors, rotating equipment, and associated mechanical assets.

Working closely with operations and maintenance teams, you will help ensure plant equipment is returned to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade.
• White Card / Construction Induction.
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces completed within last 2 years.
• Must be able to obtain a QLD Explosives Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of pumps, valves, conveyors and rotating equipment.
• Support outage and maintenance activities, collaborating with operations teams.
• Ensure work is performed safely, to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Education

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

White Card / Construction Induction

QLD Explosives Security Clearance (ability to obtain)
