Job summary

Downer Group is seeking casual Boilermakers to join the outage team at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD. The role covers routine and reactive maintenance in outage conditions, including boiler pressure-part inspections, tube leaks, hanger alignment and structural supports.

Casual position with ongoing outage opportunities; roster from Monday to Saturday, Sundays off, with an ASAP start through September and potential additional outages.

Qualifications

• Drivers Licence.
• White Card / Construction Induction.
• Working at Heights & Confined Spaces - both completed within last 2 years.
• Gas Test Atmospheres and Advances Confined Space Entry - Highly regarded.
• Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in outage environment performing routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Boiler pressure-part inspections including tube leaks, hanger alignment, and structural supports.
