Job summary

Nanyima is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high‑quality clinical care during weekday night shifts in our 51‑bed residential aged care home. This casual role reports to the Manager and focuses on autonomy, strong clinical judgement, and meaningful resident relationships.

The position requires AHPRA registration and a minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in aged care, with responsibilities including medications, wound and palliative care, and supervision of care staff.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic assessment and develop individualized care plans.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Provide clinical care including wound management and medications.
• Liaise with medical and allied health staff to ensure standards.
• Ensure care aligns with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Create a positive resident experience with a resident-first approach.
