Job summary

Pentarch Group is seeking a Plant Operator for a casual role based in Eden, NSW. You will operate fixed plant equipment, perform pre-start inspections, assist with maintenance, and help keep the site clean while following safety policies.

The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team. Police checks and a drug & alcohol test are required prior to commencing employment. Training, including forklift licenses, is provided where needed.

About the Position: Pentarch Logistics division provides portside storage, quality control, measurement and logistics solutions for the export of log and associated wood products within Australia. We are seekingPlant Operatorsto join our team based in Eden on aCasualbasis, where you will be involved with a range of duties including the receival and processing of whole log products. Please note that shift times start from 6:00am at our site based at Edrom Road. Reporting to the Production Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Operate fixed plant equipment
• Daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections
• Assist and support in maintaining machinery and equipment
• Maintain and undertake site/workplace cleaning as required
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
• Inventory management and data entry

About You:

• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude is essential.
• You must be reliable, punctual and have a focus on the quality of your work.
• Have demonstrated experience of successfully working in a team.
• We are seeking someone who is physically fit and is able to manually handle various sized timber sections.
