Job summary

Northern Grampians Shire Council is seeking Lifeguards for casual positions at Stawell in Regional Victoria. You will help keep patrons safe, supervise swimmers, and support pool activities, working as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• ARC-recognised resuscitation certification is required.
• Knowledge of pool supervision, water safety and rescue techniques.
• Understanding of public safety requirements in aquatic environments.
• Familiarity with codes of practice, health and safety regulations for aquatic facilities.
• Ability to maintain high standards of supervision and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patrons to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Conduct regular pool deck safety checks.
• Safely operate waterslide and water-play equipment.
• Assist with water testing and treatment.
• Complete housekeeping duties and maintain facility cleanliness.
• Promote positive patron behaviour and participate in staff meetings.
