Job summary

Montefiore is a Sydney-based, award-winning aged care provider with a proud 135-year history. We are seeking caring Leisure & Lifestyle Assistants to join our inter-disciplinary team and enhance Residents’ quality of life through engaging individual and small group therapies.

This casual role suits those seeking flexible hours, typically Monday to Friday with potential Sunday shifts, across our Hunters Hill and Randwick campuses.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or working towards.
• Creativity with ability and knowledge of engaging groups and individuals.
• Residential aged care experience and dementia care experience.
• Documentation knowledge and skills.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs for groups and individuals.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Experience delivering and implementing leisure programs.
• Creative and cognitive based skills for engaging groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent individual and small group therapy to Residents.
• Adopt a holistic approach to develop, implement and evaluate best-practice programs.
• Plan, implement and evaluate leisure programs for groups and individuals.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes.
