Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking enthusiastic casual Kitchen Stewarding Team Members to support our world-class venue in a fast-paced environment. You will help with washing, cleaning, storage areas and waste removal, ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety across the kitchen and service areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
• Team player who is willing to help others.
• Must have working rights in Australia.
• Able to work a 7 day rotating roster, including day, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Undertake bulk washing of all cutlery, crockery, kitchen equipment and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dishwasher areas.
• Clean and sanitise all food storage areas, cool rooms, freezers and ovens.
• Responsible for safe removal of rubbish and recycling of kitchen waste.
• Transport cleaning stations around kitchen and service areas safely.
• Operate a large scale flight dishwasher and monitor its operation.
• Complete cleaning schedules as instructed by Supervisors.

About this opportunity:

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic people to join ourclose-knit Kitchen Stewarding team as casual Kitchen Stewarding Team Members.

Working in a world-class facility, delivering Extraordinary events, youwill play an essential role in the operation of our Culinary team. You will:

• Undertake bulk washing of all cutlery, crockery, kitchen equipment and glassware;
• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen anddishwasher areas;
• Clean and sanitise all food storage areas, cool rooms, freezers, ovens and other equipment;
• Be responsible for the safe removal of rubbish and recycling of both wet and dry kitchen waste;
• Be responsible for the safe transport of clearing stations around kitchen and service areas;
• Operate a large scale flight dishwasher, ensuring machine is running properly at all times;
• Complete cleaning schedules within ICC Sydney as instructed by Supervisors.
