Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking an Inventory Purchasing Officer to support the Depot Services division. You will maintain stock levels, raise purchase orders and ensure accurate records in the Stores system while complying with procurement policies.

You will need a Certificate III in Procurement or equivalent, solid computer skills, and the ability to work well in a team or alone. A forklift licence is advantageous in a regional depot setting.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III Procurement or equivalent industry discipline.
• Experience using computerised stock systems or purchasing systems.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a team or unsupervised.
• Current Class C Driving Licence and General Construction Induction White Card.
• High Risk Work Licence for Forklift operation.

Aufgaben

• Maintain stock register and raise purchase orders.
• Ensure adherence to Council Procurement Policies and value for money.
• Assist with stock control and WHS standards.
