MCCI is seeking a casual Home Care Support Worker to help seniors live independently at home in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven area. You will provide personal care and assist with transportation to appointments as part of a dedicated team.

The role values diversity and language skills, with flexibility in shifts and a commitment to safe, respectful care for older people.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing in-home care.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or similar.
• Flexibility and availability for work.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Own comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
• Access and ability to use a smartphone.
• Fluency in a second language highly regarded.

About the Role:

¨ Personal care (bathing, dressing, undressing).

About You:

You will have a passion for working with the elderly and experience and understanding of working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Fluency in a second language is highly regarded.
