Moree Online News is seeking a Casual Event and Function Support Assistant to assist in planning and activation of community venues in Moree. You will help with day-to-day venue operations, event logistics, set-up and pack-down, and ensure high-quality, safe event experiences for the public.

You should be proactive, customer-focused and able to handle manual tasks and dynamic schedules. The role requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays, plus a current White Card

Qualificações

• Interest or experience in events, hospitality, or community initiatives.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Experience with event bump-in, pack-down, or hospitality.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and manage manual tasks.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.
• General Construction Induction White Card.
• Working with Children Check.
• Desirable: Food Handler or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Desirable: Responsible Service of Alcohol competency.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with day-to-day venue operations and activation of community venues.
• Support event logistics, physical bump-in and bump-out of functions.
• Provide courteous service to venue hirers, performers, contractors, and the public.
• Open, secure, and close Council venues following risk management and safety rules.
