Job summary

Milestones Early Learning Jimboomba, part of Affinity Education Group, is seeking a Casual Educator to join our supportive team. You’ll gain experience across Affinity centres in the local region while choosing shifts that fit your schedule.

We value flexible hours, a welcoming learning environment, and opportunities to progress to permanent roles. A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred, and a Blue Card is required or obtained.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel between nearby Affinity centres when required.

About the Role

As a Casual Educator, you'll support our teams by:

• Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Supporting learning experiences across different age groups and learning environments
• Assisting with daily routines, transitions, and centre operations
• Contributing to a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting educational documentation and children's learning journeys

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), or be actively working towards a qualification
• Previous experience working in a Long Day Care setting
• Flexibility to travel between nearby Affinity centres when required
• Availability to accept casual shifts, including short-notice opportunities
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one
