Job summary

Mayfield Early Education Tecoma is seeking a Casual Educator to support children’s development in a welcoming, safe environment. The role focuses on delivering EYLF-aligned activities and fostering curiosity across play-based learning.

You will work as part of a collaborative team, building relationships with families and colleagues while upholding high standards of care and safety. Training and flexibility with shifts are provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, wellbeing and comfort of all children in our care.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate learning programs reflecting EYLF outcomes.
• Plan and deliver experiences supporting physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
• Incorporate cultural diversity and inclusivity in programming.
• Foster positive relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to support children's needs.
• Adhere to Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of child protection laws and report concerns as required.

• Minimum Cert III in ECEC (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Proven experience with EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience with assisting to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
