Job summary

Mayfield Early Education Seaford is seeking a Casual Educator to join our caring Seaford Centre team. You will support safe play, implement engaging activities, and help nurture each child's development in a warm, inclusive environment.

You will collaborate with colleagues, communicate with families about progress, and contribute to a strong early learning program aligned with NQF and EYLF standards. A Cert III or Diploma in ECEC and a valid WWCC are required, with flexibility to pick up shifts

Qualifications

• Cert III or Diploma in ECEC (ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Valid WWCC
• Training in Child Protection / Red Nose / Food Safety (or willing to obtain)
• Working knowledge of NQF, EYLF & Child Safe Standards
• Demonstrated passion for the Early Childhood sector

Responsibilities

• Ensuring child safety & wellbeing through active supervision.
• Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
• Providing personalised attention addressing diverse learning needs.
• Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.

OurSeaford Centrehas an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicatedEarly Childhood Educatorto join our incredible team on a Casual basis!

As an integral part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.

• Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.

• Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
• Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.

You

• A vailable to pick up shifts 5 days a week any times
• Working towards or hold a minimum of a Cert III / Diploma in ECEC (of ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Valid WWCC.
• Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain).
• Working knowledge of NQF, EYLF & Child Safe Standards
• Demonstrated passion for the Early Childhood sector.

You will enjoy communicating with, and building trusted relationships with children, their families and the wider community.
