Job summary

Goodstart is seeking a Casual Educator to support our centres in Mount Isa and surrounding services. You will work as part of a friendly team, engaging with children and families while ensuring safety and quality in daily learning experiences.

Flexibility, inclusivity, and commitment to reflective practice are essential. Travel between local services and availability Monday to Friday, 6:00am–6:45pm are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification.
• Flexible availability Mon-Fri, 6:00am–6:45pm and willingness to travel between local services.
• Commitment to safety, inclusivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engage and supervise children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and staff.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.

If you have hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, Current Western Australian Working with Children Check, are willing to travel between other local services and will have flexible availability between Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 6:45pm.
