Job summary

Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd is seeking a Casual Educator to join the team at Lane Cove, NSW. You will support play-based learning, help maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and foster positive relationships with children and families.

Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, and a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards) is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for NSW.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).

Casual Educator | $38.71 – $47.68 per hour | Lane Cove, NSW

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Lane Cove, located at 72 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove NSW 2066, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for NSW
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
