Job summary

Busy Bees on Furlong Road in NSW is seeking a passionate Casual Educator to join our team. You’ll help deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF, support safety and inclusion, and build strong relationships with children and families.

Flexible casual shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for professional development and access to our Busy Bees learning platform. Current First Aid/CPR and WWCC NSW preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for NSW.
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded.
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).

• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.

• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).

What you’ll bring
