Job summary

Busy Bees Geelong West is seeking a passionate Educator to join our team at 151 Church Street, Geelong West VIC 3218, on a full-time basis. You will help deliver high-quality early childhood education and care in a nurturing environment.

You will support play-based learning, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to daily routines and safety. A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, current First Aid/CPR, and VIC WWCC are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC required.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Provide a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for all children.

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Geelong West, located at 151 Church Street, Geelong West VIC 3218, on a full-time basis. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and care, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
