Latrobe Regional Health is seeking an ED Ward Clerk on a casual basis to support the Emergency Department’s efficient operation. You will provide essential administrative support, data entry and excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff.

The role involves handling admissions, transfers and discharges, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with clinical and admin teams to ensure smooth patient flow. A flexible, team-focused attitude is essential.

Competenze

• Experience in customer service in a busy environment.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work with minimal supervision.

• Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support, including data entry, document management, filing and general office administration.
• Process patient admissions, discharges and transfers accurately while maintaining patient records and supporting post-admission requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming patients, visitors and staff and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate patient information and support reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with clinical, admissions and support teams to facilitate efficient patient flow and service delivery.
