Job summary
Nextt in Geelong is seeking reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team across SIL homes and 1:1 community shifts. You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living, and help clients build independence and life skills.
We welcome compassionate, patient and flexible individuals with experience in autism and behaviour support, and those holding current first aid, WWCC, NDIS checks and a valid driver's licence.
Qualifications
- NDIS Worker Screening Check / Yellow Card current
- WWCC – Working With Children Check current
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You completed
- Current Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Relevant disability support experience
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred, active support in SIL homes and 1:1 community settings
- Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
- Support clients with psychosocial and mental health needs
- Offer autism-informed and behaviour support
- Help clients access community activities and hobbies
- Encourage independence and build life skills
- Collaborate with clients, families and the support team
