Job summary

Scope (Aust) is seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred support across Colac, Portland, Hamilton, and Warrnambool. You’ll assist with daily living, health routines and community access while following care plans and documentation requirements.

Ideal candidates are flexible with shifts, hold NDIS/WWC checks and First Aid, and have a valid Victorian driver’s licence. We offer orientation, career development, and salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and overnight.
• Willingness to travel to Colac, Portland, Hamilton, or Warrnambool.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
• Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Full Victorian driver’s licence.
• Valid Australian working rights; police check if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence.
• Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently.
• Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access.
• Use calm communication and de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern.
• Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team.
• Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift.
