Job summary

Monash IVF Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a caring, organised administrator to support patients and their families through an important stage of their healthcare journey. You will join our casual pool, working variable shifts between 6.00 am and 5.00 pm, and be a reliable, experienced team member in a busy day hospital setting.

In this role you’ll welcome patients, handle inquiries, coordinate bookings and assist with health fund checks and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience in health administration, ideally in a day hospital or specialist practice.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, private health funds, medical billing and receipting.
• Strong communication and attention to detail in a busy healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, families and visitors as their first point of contact.
• Respond to calls, emails and patient enquiries with care and discretion.
• Coordinate patient bookings, admission paperwork and day-to-day patient flow.
• Complete health fund checks and support billing, receipting, banking and reconciliation tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient records in FYDO with strong attention to detail.
• Deliver a high standard of service so patients feel informed, supported and cared for.
