Ningana is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare nutritious, fresh meals for residents in a care setting. You will ensure safety and hygiene standards while following menus and dietary requirements.

The role relies on teamwork, reliability and good communication to support residents’ daily wellbeing and satisfaction in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook, preferably in aged care, healthcare or a similar environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and food safety-handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and dietary requirements accurately.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
• Genuine interest in preparing quality meals for older people.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
