Job summary

SA Health invites applications for Casual Community Support Worker roles based in Streaky Bay. You will deliver consumer-directed home support, enabling clients to live independently through tailored assistance and compassionate care.

Shifts and duties are determined by client needs within a 7-day roster. WHA4 level delivers more complex personal care when required; multi-classified as WHD-3 or WHD-4 with casual loading.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for aged, frail, or disabled individuals.
• Ability to work independently in the community.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming and mobility in a respectful manner.
• Perform household tasks: cleaning, laundry, meal prep and light gardening.
• Provide reliable transport to appointments and community activities.
• Support social engagement and wellbeing of clients.
• Deliver personal care for WHA4 level clients with more complex needs.
