Job summary

Accor is seeking a casual Commis Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team at our Melbourne inner-north property in Preston. You will support kitchen operations across all meal periods, work with a collaborative team, and contribute to high standards of service.

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting kitchen operations across all meal periods and service styles, including à la carte, room service, banquets, and buffet service.
• Ensuring all food produced aligns with established kitchen recipes and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organised workstation in line with HACCP and food safety standards
• Working collaboratively across all kitchen sections to promote flexibility and productivity
• Supporting stock rotation and stock control processes to minimise wastage
• Contributing positively to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
