Job summary

Minor Hotels in Geelong, Victoria, is expanding its Oaks R Suites Geelong housekeeping team with casual opportunities. You will clean guest rooms, make beds with precision, vacuum, and maintain bathrooms, delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Training provided, safety protocols followed, and you’ll work as part of a friendly team. We value detail, reliability, and the ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, andcleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.

Shift Details(subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Friday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Successful candidates will have:
