Oaks Adelaide Embassy Suites is expanding its housekeeping team and currently has multiple casual opportunities available. We’re looking for dedicated, detail‑oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience.

If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team environment, we’d love to have you on board! Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms to a high standard, meeting daily targets, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Basic knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Good physical fitness for repetitive tasks.
• Clear, professional communication with guests and team members.
• Strong time-management and task prioritisation.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by cleaning guest rooms, including beds, vacuuming floors, and bathrooms.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and with training provided.
• Build professional relationships with team members, guests and contractors.

Job Description

Oaks Adelaide Embassy Suites is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities now available.

About the job

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details (subject to change)

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
