Job summary

Minor Hotels’ Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team on a casual basis. You will help maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene while supporting daily kitchen operations.

The role offers flexible shifts with part-time or full-time options, a rotating roster, and opportunities to contribute to new menu ideas alongside the Head Chef.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cookery is required.
• Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking procedures and methods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking meals to the highest standard according to recipes.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plate and present dishes to brand standards and maintain hygiene.
• Assist the Chef in Charge with rostering and stock control.
• Help develop new menu items with the Head Chef.
