Job summary

Morandini in Darwin is seeking a casual competent chef to work with the Head Chef & F&B Department at a 272 room resort. The role covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and catered functions for groups over 100 people, with duties including meal preparation and event service.

• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, functions/events and split shifts.
• Cook food in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for resort guests and functions.
• Assist with events and catering functions as required.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety.

Looking for better pastures? We are looking for a casual competent chef for our resort in Darwin to work alongside our Head chef & F&B Department. We cater al-la-carte and functions for over 100 people.

Casual position

Northern Suburbs, close to beach, shopping centres, hospital

We are a 272 room Resort in the northern suburbs of Darwin

Duties will include breakfast, lunch, dinner and functions

Casual Chef will report to Head Chef & Directors

Must have at least 3 years’ experience working al la carte, buffet, and functions

Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, functions/events and split shifts

Cook food in a timely manner

30+ hours per week guaranteed
