Expect A Star in the Somerset region (Lowood) is seeking a Casual Educator to educate and care for children aged 0-5 in nurturing, play-based environments. You will lead and support meaningful learning experiences, collaborating with centre teams to deliver inspiring programs.

Work flexible hours by setting your availability and choosing shifts. Expect A Star offers above-award casual pay with weekly payments and opportunities for long-term growth within partner centres.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Valid Blue Card for paid employment.
• Food Handling Certificate and GECKO national Child Safety Certificate.
• National Police check.
• Minimum 2 days of availability per week, with flexibility for short-notice shifts.
• Strong communication skills and love for working with children.
• Willingness to undertake National Child Safety training.
• Reliability and adaptability to thrive in different centres.

Responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day:

What you need:
